Start on your Pioneer workstation

1. Install PAM under your normal account. Pioneer desktop control requires Windows and an unlocked Windows desktop. The shared importer and appeal tools can run on Mac using feeds from a Windows Pioneer workstation.
2. Open Pioneer at the correct pharmacy. On Windows you may save its sign-in below for unattended collection.
3. Keep Microsoft Edge installed for the payer portals. Complete any MFA prompts yourself when requested.
4. Have your NCPDP number, organizational NPI and payer portal accounts ready. Email can be connected later from Mail in the manager.

This setup creates local folders and an export receiver. It does not yet prove that Pioneer can export unattended. Appeals stay subject to data, invoice and payer-rule checks.

Export destination

Use 127.0.0.1 only when Pioneer sends exports from this same computer. Otherwise enter this computer's reserved local network address. Setup checks that the address belongs to this computer and the port is available.

Connect accounts for this pharmacy

Optional now. All fields start blank. Credentials stay in this computer's protected encrypted vault and are not included in the installer.

Pioneer desktop sign-in is available on Windows. On this Mac, connect the exported feeds from your Windows workstation.

Review and create

The installer provides the same eight reviewed Mississippi rules for ESI and Caremark. This pharmacy starts with its own empty data and appeal history; its Pioneer feeds and connected payer history are collected locally.

First collection, then daily updates

1. Invoices: Pioneer Ordering > Line Item Search. Request one year of this pharmacy's invoices through today, all suppliers, using Line Item Details. Preserve original supporting documents separately.
2. Rx history: collect all five financial-only views over the longest applicable reviewed payer window. No universal 30-day cutoff is assumed. A missing rule leaves the history start unresolved.
3. Daily: verify actual files arrive, then check missed days and late claim changes. A saved schedule alone is not proof of a working feed.

The Windows schedule selected above is saved with this connection and starts when the manager opens. PAM reuses matching searches, verifies the pharmacy and dates, and resumes missed dates when the workstation is available. Keep PAM running and Windows unlocked.

No appeal is submitted by this setup. Creating a connection does not activate a customer license.
